Shoes to be shunned to help those in need

According to soles4souls.org, the nonprofit organization was formed in 2006 after founder Wayne Elsey organized efforts to distribute shoes to those impacted by the 2004 tsunami in southeast Asia and 2005 hurricane on the gulf coast of the U.S. Since that time, almost 15 million shoes have been distributed worldwide.
